As women, we experience hormonal shifts during phases of our life that can take us into unfamiliar territory of fluctuating emotions and physical sensations. We have been conditioned to believe that our bodies are no longer working, that we are broken or need to be fixed. Menopause is one of these shifts in which a new narrative is essential to experience our bodies differently. I feel the time is now to embrace this natural and life-affirming transition and to connect with the rich and multi-layered aspects of being female.

The journey into menopause has been shrouded in silence, secrecy and misinformation. I want to shine a light on this side of women’s health and guide women through the various layers of their being, empowering them to determine the best course of action and take charge of their transition into menopause.

Menopause Mentor

Knowing that you are not alone and that you are innately equipped with the resources and wisdom to move into the remembrance of wholeness is incredibly life-affirming.

I offer this guidance through 1-1 mentoring offering you tried and tested practices in somatic movement, breathwork, yoga postures, nutrition and lifestyle changes to create a greater sense of connection and feeling in your physical and emotional body. 

When we begin working together to optimise your health the journey starts with YOU- your lifestyle, your community, your relationship with food, exercise and your perception of stress and wellbeing. I guide you to reconnect with your body to explore and shift existing narratives providing you with tools to bring greater awareness of your inherent wholeness. 

When you start to shift the attitudes and perceptions about your body, you are able to make healthy and informed decisions that affect your body and allow you to be the best version of yourself. When you feel well within yourself you are able to be of highest service to your relationships, families, communities and the workplace.

 
 

Menopause in the Workplace

Every woman in the workplace transitions through menopause in her own unique way.

In the US, the average age is 51, although it can be earlier or later than this depending on genetics or other health factors. Many women struggle with physical and psychological perimenopause symptoms for up to a decade before they reach menopause.

Menopausal-aged women are the fastest-growing workforce demographic, and their experience, talents and skills contribute to a diverse and productive work culture.

Recent research from the United Kingdom revealed that 62% of women report their symptoms negatively affect their ability to carry out their day to day work; 70% of women are not reporting to employers they are experiencing menopause symptoms that are causing them to miss work; 58% of women have taken sick days because of menopause symptoms.

Menopause is an unspoken and unaddressed issue in the workplace and there is little awareness on the impact it can have on a woman. The majority of employers lack the knowledge or resources to support female team members.

My Aim as a Workplace Wellness Coach & Menopause Mentor is to:

  • Lead Educational workshops and toolkits to improve mental and physical health, nutrition and work-life balance

  • Support company wide menopause policy guidance in line with your values

  • Train line managers to understand and recognise menopause symptoms

  • Normalize informed conversations about menopause
